Gross axle weight

How do I measure the actual gross axle weights of my 2016 F150 once my trailer is hitched up? I know that the front GAWR is 3,525 and the rear GAWR is 3,800 but not sure if I am exceeding the limits. I would be towing a Rockwood 2702 ws. Thank you.

You need to find a truck scale like CAT. It will have at least 3 sections to the scale so you can measure the weight of both the truck axles and the trailer axels separately

Pull it on the CAT scales hooked up to the RV. You will get 3 different weights: Front Axle - Rear Axle - Trailer Axle. The rear axle weights should not exceed the weight posted on your door jam on the silver color sticker. You should also add your front axle and rear axle together and that shouldn't exceed the GVWR listed on the same sticker. The weight on the trailer axle should not exceed the GVWR of the RV listed on the front left side of the RV.

The GVWR on the camper is for the whole camper... not just the weight on the trailer axles. The tongue weight needs to be included too.

The weight on the trailer axle(s) should not exceed the GAWR of the axle(s).

You are correct. What I should of said is look at the axle rating on the sticker on the left forward side the RV and get the axle ratings. Say you have two 6000 lbs axle insure the RV axles are below 12,000lbs scale weight..
