Question Ground wire connection for Inverter?

Hello : I just bought a Wagan 400w pure sine inverter and was hoping to run
my TV and a blueray off of it inside my Minilite. I was hoping to run it off of the lighter socket. I know I am limited to 180 watts with this connection but I'm hoping that should be sufficient. My question is that the inverter has a ground connection that the instructions say a wire should be connected to and ran to a ground connection to avoid a shock. Have any of you ran a similar setup to a ground connection? I am wondering where a good place to connect may be. Thx.

Hi,

I grounded my 1000 watt inverter to the same wire that grounds my converter/charger. Did this after email exchange with the converter's tech department.

Hope this helps.
