Has Nobody Seen The Windjammer 3029W?

We took delivery of our 3029W on Saturday and many people at the campground asked to take a tour. Each and every one of them commented on how big and luxurious it looked on the inside. Most stated that they had no idea such a great floor plan existed. Everybody commented on how well the entertainment center was placed, allowing comfortable viewing from the couch and the Lazy Boy recliners. This is the ultimate floor plan for us, and for others, it appears. Why don't people know about this unit?

Prejudiced

We looked at many TT before picking our 2014 3001w last year and have experienced the same interest from other campers at campgrounds. They are first intrigued by the V-nose and when given a tour they always comment on the quality of the build, options, beautiful woodwork, and space. Our huge front closet just amazes them as most have only small half-height closets in theirs. Welcome to Windjammer!

Dealer said our 3029W was scheduled to be built on the 23rd. Already have the VIN number.
We had to order it with the new Walnut cabinets etc... and new optional floor tile.

Sure glad you're happy with your unit. Can't wait to get ours. Should be within a week.
Do you know if the hot water tank by-pass is a one or three valve system?? Have had both and like the 3 valve better.

Happy trails,

3 valves at the by-pass. Enjoy!

Depends I would image what part of the country you are in for availability of the unit. We bought and like our V-light a 30WRLKIS which is Identical in floor plan. We bought the Diamond package and like the extra touches. Later RJD

We had a 2012 3008W and I lost track of how many tours we gave in the 4 seasons we had it. With the kitchen in the nose of the trailer it really impressed people how large the "living" space was. Moved onto a fiver a year ago but we throughly enjoyed our time in a v-nose.

Old car: Here again we had the equivalent 2011 V-light. We also loved the layout and the kitchen where only the wife could work in. Lots of folks like the looks and the room it had. Later RJD

We own a Windjammer 3029 also. Just completed an 8,000 mile trip from South Florida thru the mid west and into Yellowstone Wyoming. The trailer performed beautifully. The only concern I have is that the tongue is a little high, due to it being a highly optioned trailer with front AC and the Jan's walk in closet. LOL

We tow it with a 2014 F-150 Crew Cab, 4x4, Eco Boost, Genuine Equalizer Hitch, Helwig rear sway bar, and Airlift 5000 Air Bags.

Windjammer 3025

Different floor plans for different folks. The 3025 is great for the 2 of us. We live in it 5 months in the winter and camp in the summer. The huge front bathroom ... 2 sinks, is one item we like. The big "living area" is a major plus.
Nothing like sitting on the lazy boy watching a movie on tv in front of the fireplace on a cool evening in January.
The 2 items we don't like is the lack of "big item" storage. The other is minimal counter space. We solved this by adding kitchen cart with storage and a butch block top.

How about some pics of this mysterious interior or floor plan. I thought mine was great but maybe not.

We also have a 3029W and love it. Have had it a year and you are right about everyone that looks at it being impressed. Most say I only thought fifth wheels had this kind of layout!

We have a 3029W as well. We rarely ever see a Jammer out and always have people ask about it when they are walking by in the cg. Love the floor plan and the huge amount of space to entertain when friends or family drop in. The kitchen is very usable and makes the both of us working in it doable.

Here is wishing you many happy tours in the future!

Today we visited the dealer to look over our 2016 3029W that just arrived.
People you're going to love the interior decorating. My wife fell in love right off.
To start with the cabinets are made of Maple wood with a fine dark trim line. Looks very nice. Wife liked the new window treatments and especially the new beige colored kitchen corian counter top. It really lightens up the kitchen area. The all built in overhead LED lights really light the place up if they are all turned on.
The new optional flooring ( rectangular shaped tile print) is an improvement over the standard flooring.
The optional 2nd ceiling vent fan is mounted in the rear over the two chairs.
Now, for those who don't want to order the optional LazyBoy chairs the new style standard recliner chairs are extremely nice. They are made of the same pseudo-leather as the sofa bed. Very very comfortable and they recline with a foot rest. Looks good.

We opened up the sofa bed and the actual dimension of the fold out mattress is 53" wide by 74" long. So adults could sleep comfortably in it. There is NO bottom pull out drawer as now the sofa is actually a tri-fold foam mattress when extended. I'm 6' 1" and it was comfortable for me to stretch out.
Hope this helps for any who are looking at the new 2016 models.

BTW, we pick our unit up next Tuesday and the wife says she wants to go camping on Wednesday. Guess I'll call Camp Dearborn for reservations for a "shake down cruise"..
Happy trails,

We have experienced a lot of the same curiosity seekers as posted on this thread. Totally love the floor plan. Wondering if anybody has the opt'l TV in the bedroom that mounts under the cabinet that's above the dresser? Would like to have the Manufactures name and part number on this swing down TV bracket.. One comment on my 3029W and I'm not hijacking this thread. Our first trip was around 2,000 miles. I noticed a little swaying that I didn't have with my last smaller TT. Was told that I needed a 2nd sway bar because of the length (which I still haven't done) Prior to our next trip I replaced the C rated Trail Express tires with D rated Maxxis, pulled about 2800 miles and I never had any sway...

I have a 3065wa and we love our trailer, hard to find a better trimed out unit. In the process of buying a 5er, need more room and need a bigger refrig. We keep our trailer on site 365 and keep it powered up. Have looked at so many 5ers that I wouldn't even trade mine for, its hard to find quality without breaking the bank.
You will enjoy your WJ they are great.

I had my dealer order me the hardware which includes the mounting hardware for outside, also. I don't know how much it cost yet, but I will let you know and give you any part number information I can after I recieve it.
