Looks like the only drawback might be if you are on soft ground. The blocks/lumber would spread out the weight a little more. 3/4" plywood might solve that.

I really hope I don't have to use them.
OK, (sigh) my non tech brain is having problems visualizing what you're describing OC.

Can ya post a picture?

We bought these when we purchased the V-Lite and DH took them back for a refund.

I'm thinkin' we need to give 'em another try. Last weekend we used lego blocks on the passenger side, and you can't chock a wheel when you use legos. Of course we put the X-chocks on, but still.....

HAHA We discussed this new contraption a few weeks ago

Yes they work and a whole bunch of us went out and bought a set

Problems: None except one: for dual axel RVs (my 5er at least) I had to trim one so that it would fit between the tires.

Oh yeah...dual axel RVs need 2 so it is almost 2.5x as expensive as lego blocks.

Use: Butt-easy! Set them in and back up until 6 Actual says STOP! Done. That easy.

Has anyone ever had them interfere with the between the tire chocks? I have the home made 4x4/all thread version.

Not that I am aware of - OC has a mod that cuts off 1/2" on the BACK end rather that the front net. Believe that will obviate any X-Chock interference

Don't think my mod will make any difference, as you have to use the levelers before you use the Bal X Chocks and the levelers are under the tires. Don't really understand the concern. I guess I'm just dense.

Just seemed that if you weren't too off then there would be a large chunk of the leveler between the tires. Doesn't sound like its not a concern though.

Purrfect! Now I get it. Bein' a female kinda person, I needed to imagine the heel of a shoe being worn down.

And DH has a grinder in his shop. Easy Peasy! I could do *that* while he's gone golfin'.

But, I can't make that king pin and/or ladder mod for the satellite dish.

As stated, DH and I bought these when we purchased the V-Lite back in May of last year. Don't remember why, but he took 'em back for a credit when we took the V-Lite in for warranty work. I don't think he actually ever tried 'em. I seem to remember something about storage space. Can't use that excuse any more. The 5er has much more storage space.

I told him today we need to give these another try. (I'm gonna order 'em. He can thank me later.)
