Do you have a switch on the fridge that controls condensation? It will be located on the upper door. This is a large power draw and would drain your batteries overnight.

Have you checked your fridge for the heater strip like in the thread I mentioned above? If you have that and don't address it then you'll be faced with a massive battery drain constantly, no matter what else you shut off.

Not all fridges have the heater strip. And not all fridges with the heater strip have the switch. You have to disconnect the wiring.

My fridge says it has 2 5A fuses, one for 12v DC and one for ac heater...so is the heater not being used on dc? I don't have a switch that they talk about in the other thread.

Help! draining batteries
The link was posted earlier in this thread.
If your fridge is a Dometic, you probably have the heater. The thread will talk about how people have taken the fridge apart to permanently cut the wires to the heater.
But if you want a simpler solution, go to the outside fridge vent, open the vent and then open the box over the fridge's control board. Look for the jumper that connects the fridge light, it'll be something like J1 or J2. I don't remember exactly which, but I was able to spot mine easily by looking at the schematic included back there.
If you unplug that it kills power to the fridge light and the heater. You'll be without a fridge light but it'll get you by until you decide what you want to do as a more permanent fix. This is the approach I plan to take if I ever need to dry camp since it'll pretty much only be a one time thing for us.
If you don't have a Dometic, I'm not sure what the procedure is, you'll have to go to the other thread.

I do have a dometic....turned it off for the night and batteries are good this morning! I will look for the jumper and then see what elseems I can do. The other thread is from 4 years ago you would think they would have fixed this issue by now11!

My model is a dmr702, it says the heater is used on ac....so is it really not being used during DC operation?

The manual for your DMR is here in post #4:
http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...lem-76417.html
Looking at the wiring schematic, it looks like you've got TWO sets of heaters in parallel with your inside light. You need to pull the wire on P6 on the control board.

You hadn't mentioned solar, or I missed it.
It is quite possible that there are no blocking diodes on the solar system. If this is the case, the panels will actually drain the battery when there is no output from the panels.
Please elaborate on what solar installation you have.

I read that you both pulled the fuse AND disconnected the solar.
In this case, either one of them could have been the cause.
Hence my post regarding the possibility of the solar draining the batteries.
I realize your frustration, but a terse reply to someone trying to help is not needed.

I believe this is referring to the heater that powers the absorption cycle. The heaters around the door that we are telling you are always powered are powered by the same 12VDC that powers the inside light. So if you have the inside light coming on when you open the door, your battery or converter is supplying 12VDC to the door heater also. If you're on shore power, the 12VDC is coming from the converter and shouldn't impact your battery. If you're not on shore power, then the 12VDC is coming from your battery and would be why your battery is dying.
So pulling the fuses may have solved your battery problems, but now I suspect your fridge is probably not operating. I think you'd need to pull the wire off pin P6 to kill the inside light/door heater while still allowing the fridge to operate on gas.
While the manual shows the fuses, it doesn't really tell you what functions each fuse is for. It's possible that one fuse is just for the light/door heater, in which case you could pull it and still operate the fridge.
