Help with 2109S install of hardwired EMS

Need help on where to install Hardwired Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C.
Power comes in behind Bath Sink but not sure that is a safe environments to install. There is no power bay so that is out. Breaker Panel is below Fridge.
Which option is best for the install or is there another option???
Thanks
Claude

2109S EMS Bath Cabinet mount

I have a 2019 2109S and mounted it under the bath sink on the left side of cabinet wall. Used a piece of 1/2"plywood to mount the EMS to and run the readout cable thru the cabinet and tucked it behind the trim of the shower. Mounted the readout right at the ceiling. I found that to be the best option for gaining access to it if needed.

Ems. 2109s

Here are some pics. I went through the bath cabinet were all the other electrical wires are and then fished up to the readout. The space between the shower and bath vanity are so close and obscure that you do not notice the wires. As I said I used a piece of plywood, i think it was either 1/4 or 3/8 to mount the EMS to. I mounted the plywood to the small corner braces on the inside of the vanity. The thin paneling on the vanity just was not sturdy enough nor was it thick enough to accommodate the screws. I also thought about running the readout wire thru the wall and mounting it by the thermostat on the other side of the bath wall but did not want to walk inside and around to check the readout after plugging into shore power. Also the continuous scrolling of checks that it goes thru may keep you awake if your a light sleeper.

I mounted ours under the sink on the floor with standoff's so it's up off the floor in case of water. I am fabricating a spray shield from 1/8" thick ABS this week for some added protection.

I am either going to mount the display under the counter overhang on the cabinet on the right side or up above the bathroom mirror on the right side, I believe I can drop the wire down inside the wall and there's an opening at the bottom under the counter.

I moved the pump to the right a few inches to make some extra space.

I've since bypassed and removed the filter to get it out from under the cabinet.

Had a Jayco before our Rockwood and they were very helpful about sending diagrams of frame, electrical and plumbing. Had to supply the VIN#. Have not had to do that yet with our MiniLite. Have you tried writing the Service Dept and asking for the diagrams?

Diagram schematics

Talked to a Forest River tech today but he would not divuldge anything that will help with a mod. no electric, plumbing or layout of any spaces that would help with a mod. Liability issues was what I heard with ever question.

After looking at campitout's install I decided to rework mine.

I drilled a hole above the medicine cabinet and the wire easily dropped down inside the wall cavity and came out at the opening under the cabinet.

I used 3/4" backer board to mount the EMS to and it's rock solid now.

Used velcro to hold the remote display to the wall.

I have a 26dbh so I was able to put mine right under rear bunk where 30 plug comes in. I put there because it's easy access. I wired LED lights into my pantry and had to remove Breaker panel to access DC line to power the lights. My breaker panel is also under the fridge. There's plenty of room behind there to mount the surge protector and then it's not under the sink. Plus you can easily remote mount display above fridge.

Mounting PI EMS

I have a 2016 model 2109s and mounted the EMS behind the electrical panel screwed to the floor. Ran the remote wire inside the bathroom wall beside the frig and mounted the display inside the bathroom on that common wall. Suggestion: If you don't want to look at a scrolling, red LED display, mount the display out of sight from the bed.

I was planning on mounting the display on the other side of the wall next to the thermostat but was afraid it could bother people trying to sleep.

I would rather have it where I can see with a glance from anywhere in the trailer. I have a 26DBH so totally different from yours. My display is next to thermostat. No one has complained about it being too bright but I have electrical tape in the camper. If it was a problem, I'd just cover it at bedtime and remove tape in the morning. That's my 2 cents.

My finished EMS install

No idea how to rotate pic 90 degrees but you can see the EMS is mounted at the top in the Bath Sink Cabinet where power comes in from outside. Mounted the display above mirror

Ems location

This is great. I was thinking about putting mine under the vanity. Was wondering where to put the monitor. I like the idea of putting it above the medicine cabinate so the light won’t be annoying at night. My water pump and filter are in the front pass thru. I also like the way the you added the opening above the vanity door. I may do that also.
Thanks
