Hidden fuse on 2011 rockwood 1809s

I just purchased a 2011 used rockwood 1809s, hardly used. Once I got it home and throughly inspected it, I found that the wire going to the water pump was cut and someone tried to splice into the hot water heater switch wire, but then cut the connection. I thought the pump wire must have been damaged so someone was looking for another source of electricity. I was going to replace the pump wire after testing the switch and pump (which were both good ), when I found a hidden 10 amp fuse behind the pump switch that was burned out. Does anyone know if this was suppose to be there or did someone add it. Also on our first trip we put a dvd in the player that came with the unit and it said " no disc ". The radio part works is there another hidden fuse?

Our new 2012 Coachmen Clipper Sport 126 has two "hidden" fuses that I've found so far...
Keep looking. Does your trailer have a wiring diagram?

Locations of "hidden fuses" in my 2010 Flagstaff 5th wheel.

1) Behind the power center (3) (power awning and front basement lights, Concertone radio and antenna amp)

2) Behind the battery box in the front compartment (4) (main slides, front landing gear, Battery protection fuse (manual reset).

3) Inside the Entertainment Center (1) (auto reset 15 amp fuse for rear power stabilizers)

4) AT the Water Pump (10 amp fuse)

5) UNDER the pin box of a 5th wheel and under the frame of a travel trailer (main fuse connecting battery, tow vehicle power, and power center together.

Aren't fuses supposed to be accessible?

On our maiden voyage it was raining and the trailer was dead when we got to our destination. Fortunately a week before I had noticed a hidden fuse in this mess under the front of the trailer. Swap the fuse and bingo! We had lights.

Still, does everyone's new trailer's wiring look this bad?
