You need to take a thermometer and measure it. I remember a discussion a while back about the water temperature in newer units having been lowered to 120ºF to prevent scalding. You should also contact the dealer and ask them about it. There may be something they can do to up the temp a bit.

Check to make sure the bypass valve is closed. If it's open you are mixing cold with hot downstream from the heater.

AVid

edit: If you have an outside shower, make sure the water is turned off at the valves and not just the shower head.

Ditto what AVid said.

The valve that your looking for should be located in a short (about 12") line between the cold water line going into your hot water tank and the hot water line coming out.

These lines may be color coded, blue for cold and red for hot. The valve should be open when it is parallel with the line and closed when perpendicular. At least mine is set up this way and possible your's will be too.

Hope this helps.

Have you checked to see if you can adjust the temp higher on the hot water heater? Look behind the access panel on the outside of your trailer. There should be a lever that you can adjust to change the temp of the water.

New hot water heaters are not adjustable.
My '03 was and then our '04 and now our '08 are not.
Progress...........?
If it's really just luke warm there is a problem.
Even 120 deg water is pretty hot if you stick your hand/body in it.

If it measures near 120 with a thermometer and you want hotter,
you can order a 130 deg thermostat or you can retrofit your new
heater with an adjustable home type water heater thermostat
from Home Depot or Lowes home center. They typically cost less
than $10. I have not done it but would not hesitate to do so if
I wanted hotter water.

Sounds like your hot warter by-pass valve is open . Check the back of your hot water heater to be sure. This hot water heater with the electric on should be more than you need and very hot.
