We FINALLY have some news regarding our Rockwood 8293RKSS - I have a build date of May 19th. Then it needs to go to quality control and then to transportation. My dealer told me that 1/3 of the delivery drivers have taken their trucks off the road due to fuel prices. But we're only 233 miles away from the factory, so if push comes to shove, we'll make a road trip!!! And we scored a sweet deal today on a used Dodge Ram 3500 diesel. Now I'll have to work until I'm 120 instead of 100 to pay for both of these. But at least I'll be happy!!!! Looking at the first week of June for delivery. Can't wait!!!

We just ordered our Rockwood Saturday and were today 6-8 weeks BUT they did add a third shift back on so it could be sooner IF they had the drivers to deliver. Our dealer did say they had a call of one off the line and had it on their lot in three days and we are in NC so that was really good. Could we get so lucky??

Ok, I just got 'the' e-mail saying the trailer is IN!!!!!!

If it is the right trailer, , then I would say that we are 'on' for our May 28 pick-up =]

Nope, no seeing it till then. But I will have the salesguy check it out and make sure they got all the order right.
Now, if it would only stop raining here, I could empty out the shed at the end of our driveway, and move it so we have somewhere to park the trailer ;p
I love leaving things to the last minute :/

Did the dealer eat this cost or just charge the difference on what the shipping was going to be when you originally ordered the trailer?

well, they had to make some changes to the bank deal, since it changed, but they were very swift and worked something out for us that worked well, without changing any of the payment amount. freight is added into the original amount anyway, but now that they pick it up, things change... i dont care how it happened, just as long as my payments are the same and my trailer is here!!!
