Humming Noise

Hay friends, my new 8289ws has a humming noise that sound like it is coming from either the fridge or the inverter. Took it back to the dealer and they say that they can't hear anything. Has anyone had this trouble too? Thanks for any info.

Hello, I have 3 noises. The humming noise can be the overhead fan if equipped, it is a constant noise. Second noise is more of a whir is the fridge fans, this may only happen when it is hot and the fridge is actually running. The final noise is the inverter itself. Need to make sure there is enough load on it to make the noise, lights on etc. to cause the fans to come on.

Same sources here. The biggest culprit is the fridge fans. After this season I'm going to change mine out to a more quiet model.

I am going the electronic supply route for a replacement. They make some decent muffin fans that are quiet, just use 2 to make up the cfm (air movement) difference on the stock ones. In canada Sayal has a lot to choose from, Newark in US and Digikey are other sources.

I changed my fridge fans. Go to a computer shop and pick up the fans. They are now totally quiet.
