Hurry up and wait....

Well, the new 2703WS just showed up at the dealership today. Didn't have power on it, but I got to poke around in it some and I didn't notice anything loose, scratched, or otherwise out of place.....should save me a little PDI time next week when I pick it up.

A few things I noticed...well, first that either the factory forgot to install my second AC or the dealer misordered...either way, easy fix. At least they wired it for 50A and prepped for the other AC. They've also changed a few things since I looked at another 2017 just two months ago. Antenna has been relocated and gone to a different Wineguard model...not sure which one yet. Some of the cabinets have been changed up in the kitchen and over the dinette. And the Corrian countertops have been changed slightly, which is ok..I like these better.

Now I get to wait until next Thursday to go pick it up knowing it's only fifteen minutes away. Patience grasshopper.

Ah... now I know what that grinding sound is.

You, chomping the bit...

Enjoy the new trailer!

Cabinet doors over the sink was a good change. I could see that an open door would get caught by the slide.

I was thinking that. The only real change, I THINK, was that they used to open upwards on gas struts. Mine has regular left/right doors.

They will. It's only a couple hours worth of work and they have one in stock. I started to order this unit last year and 50A and second AC prep was the only option. This year, adding the second AC was optional from the factory. The ball got dropped somewhere, but it's an easy fix.

This will be the third in just over five years, lol. You'd think I'd be used to it by now.

Ditto. I have had to re-glue my pantry door twice on my Flagstaff 829FKSS. My wife left on open once and so did I.

This is an item on our checklist: Remove the slide out braces and check for open doors.

On one end is the pantry, the other is the entertainment center. Either could be an issue extending the slide. Never had an issue. I was prompted to add the step by reading sad forum posts...

Well...had it for two days

So far, so good. Have a few small issues that popped up after playing with it for a day or so. The second power fan is hanging on the trim somehow...nothing I can't fix. The counter top managed to come unglued at the very end (I kind of helped it along while I was messing with the extension)...nothing a little construction adhesive wont fix, in fact I may never notice it if I don't fix it. And, one corner of the dinette slide trim is hanging on the floor right as it fully extends. That one I'm not so sure about. It MAY crack eventually, but it's in a position that we almost didn't notice. I think I'll just watch it and see what happens. Nothing that is going to make me haul it back to the dealer.

Now...I'm not sure if it's me or the different stabilizer jacks. My 2104S had electrics that lowered both sides at the same time. This one has four individual power stabs. Even though it's about 12 feet longer than the last one, it's MUCH more stable that the shorter trailer...I would have guessed the other way. I probably won't use my stand jacks in the middle like I used to.

Next up...put my 6V's on and wire my HW50C in and I should be ready to go.
