IKEA Ottoman works great!

My wife came up with this so wanted to share. We bought two of these from IKEA, $15 a piece I think. They serve several purposes. They work as a footrest, of course, in front of The sofa. The lid comes off for storage inside. They work as an additional seat if someone comes to visit. Nice to sit on it to put on shoes, etc. And the bright color really helps brighten things up inside the camper. They are easily slid around to wherever they are needed. They're about 18" square think. Pretty neat!

Good idea! Nice to have a bit of extra storage too.

We got one on Amazon that is rectangular. Just the right height for our pups to use to hop into the Murphy bed, a great footrest in front of the couch, and handy for keeping our bag of dirty laundry.

I love mine!! I bought one about 6 months ago at Target, $20. When I sit on the couch my feet dangle (I'm short, couch tall) - so I put my feet up on it. The DH had a fit - "Where the ........are we going to store that thing!!" I put it on the dinette bench seat for traveling, easy peasy!! We store tons of odd ball things in it, found it was good for putting in the books that we have read, then when we get home, we take them out. Even my son with the TT loved it. Always look for stuff like that just before it is time for College kids to go to College - dorm room stuff - that's when you find cool stuff for RV!!

We found a couple of "pleather" ones at BigLots that work great for us.

Made our travel trailer out of Omaha steak cooler, a sheet to match and glue gun. We love it. Can also use as a nite stand/coffee table. Must put padding on top of any more I make

Nice idea and timely. Walmart just dropped the price to $19.98 on the $49.99 sCostway models. They fold/collapse so we just keep them in the under bed storage. They come in 3 different colors, here's the link to the brown one.

We purchased similar ones from Meijer a couple of years ago for about $20 each. The brown fabric really matches our Rockwood "Churchill" upholstery.

Thanks for the idea. I think I will see what color I can get to brighten up our TT. Plus the seats at the table kills my back. I think this will be the answer for my couch.

We bought similar looking ones at WalMart when we had our first TT. Still use them in our 5er. I like to use one as a TV tray. In fact we seldom use the dinette unless we have company. I also use mine instead of opening up my recliner. It's more comfortable. Make great storage for books, magazines, DVDs, and the DW's crochet stuff.

I bought 2 similar cubes that store flat, with the intention of using them on one side of the bed for our pup to sleep on. Needless to say, the cubes are now shoe/backpack storage and the dog still sleeps wherever he wants on the bed. The cube also serves as a step, making it easier for him to jump up onto the bed. At least he's comfortable.

This DOES look like a NICE item to have. We just got a 2017 832IKBS Flagstaff and it's the first time we've had the free standing kitchen table. But it's alittle tight on the side up next to the wall with the window valances - the other side has more room with the tv/fireplace at an angle. I usually have to sit sideways on the chair so then I have no back support. Now I realize this would not give me the back support either but it looks comfy. And t it would be nice in the bedroom to put on our shoes... thanks for sharing.... Fluffy DW..
