I'm a nervous wreck
Traveling on I-43 southbound through construction in Milwaukee on our way to Lake Geneva. First time we've pulled the TT through this much traffic. I either need valium or a JD on the rocks! Frightening. And people don't care if they drift into your lane or cut in front of you. I'd much rather travel north.

I am glad that your survived to write about it. I am sitting here reading about your ordeal and thinking I have to do Atlanta next month. Do you take the valium with JD after you are safely in a campground?

That is what my neighbor said about going through..he left here at 10 PM to make sure he got through Atlanta at 3 AM. It is about a 3.5 hour drive from here.

why don't you drive out here in California.
like the 405 and the 101 in SoCal.
that'll turn really blow your mind! 
if you can drive around in the LA area, with a RV, you can drive anywhere in the U.S.

Ha...Went thru Atlanta..3 pm New years Day 2012..i stayed right in the middle of 7 lanes doing 60-65 mph...traffic past me on both sides..but...it flowed and we made it !!!

I made the trip thru that road construction on 43 a few times his summer
now come down to IL. and go thru the road construction on I 294 I did it twice.
strong starbucks coffee, nerves of steel, and a bad ***** attitude help

I learned to drive in Californina...now live in Tennessee. I have been through Atlanta at all times of the day, morning rush hour, evening rush hour...I have flipped a VW around on I-5 coming out of Seattle on a bed of ice. I guess pulling a tt through different areas is what you get use too. What I hate are those tourists who don't know where they are going, oh wait...that is me!

I'll take interstate road construction anytime as opposed to oil field traffic in Williston ND, where for every 5 vehicles on the road 4 are semi trucks driven by rookie drivers who just got their CDL.
