The slaughter of the English language by practically everyone on tv is what is worth griping about.

Terminology and procedures on cop shows drive DW and myself crazy. If we practiced EMS like TV shows, our license would have been pulled years ago or be in jail. Someone will get injured by following the examples of TV shows. Someone will also get misinformed and injured with bad advice on towing.

That one reminds me of my father. He'd say " Hot water heater? Why would you want to heat water that's already hot?" Most people didn't get it.

Not defending the show at all but people throughout this great country call things by different names and grill is a BBQ in some areas, a 4x4 no matter what is a jeep as they started it...... Maybe not but......... a diesel truck is a what (clanker ???? never heard that one before here). Just for a few........

Oh yea if if I go to get something out of the boot where am I going????

OK some errors you might understand - a Jeep and a "4x4" at least look similar - but a jack has NOTHING to do with a HITCH and looks nothing like it.

Have to disagree there. A jack holds the front of a trailer up / the "hitch part" when not attached to the TV and people confuse a receiver & a hitch all the time. So not to surprising .......
