In you situation, I'd suggest you go for the larger, 3,000 or 3,500# jack.

I've got the 3500# UltraFab. They can be bought at sale prices certain times of the year. I've also heard folk buying the refurbished UltaFab on Ebay with very good success.

HERE'S a new-in-box, 3500# UltraFab for $189.

Glad you found one that will work for you, and at a good price too. You'll be fine with the 3000# jack.

My dealer for my new SV304 says there is a specific jack provided factory from Forest River - anybody know anything about this? $220.

I think, maybe, it may be an Atwood. Of course, I could be wrong.

I ran across a photo of a 2007 Rockwood 2701 on a dealers lot. It looked to be an Atwood jack. If so, I would think Forest River would use the same brand on all their ultra-lites, but like I said, I could be wrong.

Bought the Ultra-fab at Camping world on sale....works fine on my 8314ss and my Tahoe.....only limitation seems to be the stroke, but I have not found it to be a problem. I did neglect to consider that the jack must lift the tongue AND the rear of the truck to attach the equalizer bar chains, but the 3000 seems sufficient for the task....and makes hitching and unhitching a LOT easier.
