iRV 33 Irv Technology HDMI front port

Tried to conned our Roku to stream to the TV using the HDMI port at the front of the Multimeia System and could not do it. Read the manual which is pretty lame and search online, could not find on how to hook some and view on the TV. Next time might use a Blu-Ray player. Anyway, how you get the information from that HDMI to route to the TV? The TV is already hooked with a HDMI for Multimedia System to allow the view of DVDs; the other are Audio Out (on TV) for the camper speakers and the Antenna/Cable TV input.

The way we got it to work for now is by direct connection on the TV HDMI port.

Is the unit auto sensing? If not search for the play menu and see if there is another option. Do not have that style player so taking a stab at it. mo.

We were told from the dealer that 90% of the time the wires in the back of the IRV unit are wired wrong from the builder. Hook up your roku or blue ray and go through every input on the IRV and see if it pops up on a different input control.

On this case the Rear HDMI is no assesible. Might have to pull the whole unit, saw no access panels/doors.

If you pull the unit there will be 3 hdmi outputs on the back of the unit. That's were you plug the cable into and run to the back of a TV.

Anyone know how to take the unit out without damaging it. My TV speakers are on the wrong output.

There are covers along each side that slide off. Once they are off there are square head screws holding the radio in place. Mine had plenty of wire to pull the radio out where it was easy to work on.

This is how mine (iRV 66) was, except mine had Phillips head screws.

I have an iRV66 and have the same issue with the front HDMI port. It seems to do nothing. We plugged our Chromecast directly into an open HDMI port on the TV to get it to work. The manual was no help.
