IRV Technologies Stereo Speaker Zones

We have the Rockwood 2507 with the IRV Technologies DVD Player Stereo combination. This thing has 3 speaker zones and I have only found 2. Zone 1 is the 4 speakers inside the camper and zone 2 is the 2 speakers outside on wall of camper. Does anyone know if I have a zone 3 or is that for larger units possibly? Thanks for any knowledge on this[emoji74]

I had that on my last RV as well, pretty sure its just giving you the option to add a 3rd zone.

Our 2018 29KSWS has 3 zones. Can't remember the zone exact number to areas right now but 1 is for living area, 2 is for bedroom, and 3 is the outside speakers. Not sure if yours has separate speakers in bedroom area but those our my 3 zones.

They're usually not to hard to pull off the wall, just a couple of screws in most cases (not sure how yours is trimmed in). Once you can get to the back of it, you should be able to tell what's connected and what's not. Also it's a good time to make sure all the connections are tight. They do work loose sometimes as the unit is shaken all over the road.

On mine, zone 1 is living room, zone 2 is bedroom and zone 3 is the outdoor speakers. The easiest way to check is hit the zone 3 button around midnight blasting some Black Sabbath. You can find out in a hurry that way. Enjoy.

Ww have a rockwood 2440ws. Zone 1 is the cabin Zone 2 is the bedroom. Zone 3 is outside and you can actually play for example a radio outside and tv in cabin at the same time I was told. Haven’t ever tried it.

This is the wiring sticker on the back of my iRV33. Maybe it will give you something to think about until you can get yours off the wall.

Speaker zones

In our 2016 2304KS
ZONE 1 is the center of the trailer
ZONE 2 is at the couch/Murphy bed
ZONE 3 is the outside speakers.
I've found the IRV to be eminently mediocre, both in our current 2304KS and in our previous Dutchman Kodiak Hybrid.
That being said, in addition to all the wonderful things about the IRV systems that have been posted to this forum, it is just as likely that the installers at Forrest River did a botched job of installation?
In our unit the connection to the TV does not work and the auxiliary connection works intermittently. The blue tooth connection can be iffy as well.
I'm planning on asking the FR folks to repair these issues at the Goshen FROG rally!
Other than that we've had no other issues that I, thankfully, couldn't repair myself.

Has anyone had problems with one zone (bedroom on mine) to be way louder than the other zones? If so, how do I adjust? I played with the settings a little but no luck. If the volume is on 1, the lowest, it is still very loud on zone 2 bedroom.

If you hold whichever zone you want to listen to for a few seconds you should be able to adjust the volume in that zone only. hope this helps a little.

We have same on our Sunseeker 2400R. You can fade front to back with the controls.

2018 2504S. Only 2 zones for my trailer, which has the Murphy Bed and no discrete bedroom. Zone 1 is the soundbar above the TV. Zone 2 is the outdoor speakers. Zone 3 is not used.

The sound is, of course, completely underwhelming. If I cared at all about indoor entertainment, I'd be yanking that Furrion soundbar out immediately. After that, I'd probably look at upgrading the radio, too. But, for the rainy-day escape that it is, it's fine.

Anyway, as you can see, the Zone 3 setting is only used for those floorplans that have, well, a third zone (usually a bedroom). Presumably, you could pull the radio and tie into those +/- wires (from the wiring diagram above) to add a Zone 3.

Maybe on new ones, but my 2016 ML 2503S uses all 3 zones. Zone 1 above the dinette/kitchen, Zone 2 above the Murphy bed, Zone 3 outside.
