Joining Rockwood's Two Sewer outlets

Have a Rockwood 8289 on order...those of you who have one or other Rockwoods that may have the same set up...just curious how you deal with the 2 separate sewer discharges. I don't want to have to move my sewer hose over after emptying one tank. Have you rigged something up where they both come into 1 outlet, or do you use 2 short pieces of sewer hose connected to a Y adapter? I have seen those available on Amazon...just looking for tips. I assume there are 2 separate grey tanks that are both connected to one of the discharges and that the second discharge is the black tank.

Do a search on here as Old Coot modified his 5ver exactly like you want to. It was in the modifications and updates sub forum if I remember correctly.

Harley...can you explain your design a bit to that solid pvc joint connected to the Rhino clear elbows or are they rubber, cause looks like clamps on there as well at the joints.

The front drain is gray from the shower and black water. The rear drain is from the galley.

My galley tank outlet is approx. 8' from the grey & black tank outlets. I just tied into the galley tank outlet to the black tank outlet and added a shut off valve.

I simply purchased a Y adaptor for the rhino flex hoses and couple the three lengths together. If memory serves me correctly, I also had to buy another swivel lug fitting for one of the hose lengths in order to enable it to connect to the Y.

One hose is a lot easier to deal with than two and don't have to crawl under slide out to open galley drain.
