Glad to hear you are looking forward to using your new Rockwood. Like others, we are also anxious for Spring to arrive - already have a March trip planned to southern Texas - hopefully warm there! While the Dicor sealant is likely a good idea, I swear by Eternabond on the roof. When we received our 2011 2304, I was unimpressed with the quality of the workmanship installing the dicor on all areas of the roof and eternabonded over it all. Before putting up for winter I inspected and had no problems.

Hey Char n Kath - I got your original message in my email and I see you changed it LOL BTW Sempher Fi since you are wearing Dress Blues in your pic - 91 to 95 Marine Corp Here

The Murphy bed was an option - I went with the Queen since I wanted the front window to be opened to view out the front

Thanks for the Info on Eternabond - My father swears by the Dicor but have to look to see if it works on a rubber roof though cause he wasnt sure and I have no clue either since this will be my first camper even though I am not new to camping LOL

Sherdep - Semper Fi! & a big OOORAAAHHH!!! My time was 76 through 88 - Parris Island alumni! Yes, I had to redo my message, as I had incorrectly read what your unit is - not the same as mine....

We prefer the queen up front (with the pass-thru storage) over the murphy bed and were able to get a 2304 custom built by FR with a queen instead of the murphy. We really love it!

My problem with the dicor was that on our first unit (2006 2104) after four years the dicor on the roof all required replacement - and one spot had led to water infiltration between the roof and wall. So I did plenty of research and decided on Eternabond. It wasn't that difficult to put on a new unit - it was pretty clean already & I did use the installer roller - which was quite useful.

Does the front window on the 2306 open for airflow or just light?
Thanks K

The front window does not open on my 2011 2306. I think every other window in the trailer does open though. The fantastic fan moves alot of air even on low so airflow shouldn't be an issue. FYI, the window over the dinette table is a bit of a pain in the ***** to open.

We just purchased a 2306. It was in stock, and manufactured in October. Before tax price was $14,700. It also included the Convenience Package,
Cherry Cabinetry, Gas Oven with Range cover, 14" Wheel/Tire upgrade with Double Steps, Murphy Bed/Couch, and a Power Awning.

This is our first trailer, and we cannot wait to start using it this spring.

I've had a few private messages for those asking about the murphy bed option. below are a couple photos of the murphy bed/couch. There is no pass through storage in the front. But there is smaller compartments accessible from the inside or outside on each side, and decent storage under the couch cushions.
