Keeping drawers and cabinet doors closed during travel
Hello all,
Most of my drawers and cabinet doors have popped open at one point or another while traveling. Anyone have any good suggestions that work to fix this problem. Latches? Magnets? Homemade contraptions?

We use bungee cards on ours. No problem.
We have a rockwood 8325ss.

We installed 10lb or 15lb latches for all our 'problem' drawers and cabinets. No more surprises!!!! Easy to install and you don't have to use 'supplemental' methods 
There are many styles to chose from:

we use child locks on the double doors,& dial rods on drawerss

We also have used child locks in the past on are other 5er; but they have not been required on our Cedar Creek as of yet.

We have had three trailers over 20 years and towed thousands of miles. Never had a cabinet or drawer open. Make sure the latches are adjusted properly.

The DH bungee cords EVERYTHING!!! That was after a trip home crossing the North Grand Island bridge while they were in the process of re-surfacing the whole thing. It was like xcountry skiing over moguls, we didn't realize and he was going full speed. Everything opened up and came falling out. Something like that will probably never happen again, but he still bungee cords everything.

I had one door that would always pop open...added a second latch thingy like the original (one top, one bottom) problem solved

Double Ball Latch
This seems to be the most durable, and adjustable latch for securing cabinet doors and drawers. You local full-service hardware store (not the big boxes) may have them in multiple sizes. They allow installation for two directions, so versatle, but placement has to be pretty much exact. There are screws to set the tension on the balls, so you can set the release tension to your needs.

Wife made some 1 inch Velcro strips for cabinet doors that work great looped thru door handles. Have not had any problems with drawers.

I use properly sized T-handles bolted through the cabinet/drawer frame adjacent to the opening side of the door or next to the drawer. Bolt head inside the cabinet and jam nut against the bottom of the T-handle so the assembly turns together without un threading the handle. Parallel to the edge to open, perpendicular to hold closed.

Velcro
We had had pantry doors and closet doors coming open. They where located behind the slide outs when closed. Almost lost the doors!!!. Put a small piece of velcro each corner two years ago. No problems since.

the only drawer we have problems with is the sliding drawer underneath the small couch. We use our rubber chock blocks to do double duty, the tires when we are parked, the drawer when we are traveling.
