Just do not stack any heavy items just inside the doors that can fall against the doors that will pop them open.......Our drawers have the normal cabinet latches installed on bottom of drawers in center

We use double sided Velcro between the handles to secure cabinet doors.

Thanks

Thank you for the replies. We have the Mini Light 2306, so only single cabinet doors. I've had the drawers under the dinette open on our first trip, pulling the screws up from the rear brace supporting the drawer slides. On our recent trip the 2 drawers under the kitchen sink opened up and again, the screws holding that rear brace pulled out of the floor. On the way home, the medicine cabinet opened dumping everything out.

A little frustrating, but thanks for the ideas.

doors and drawers

My wife opens and closes each and every one of them (with force not quite slamming them but hard) we have never had one come open during our travels

Keeping drawers and cabinet doors closed solution

Hey folks! I submitted this issue a few months back about how to keep my drawers and cabinet doors closed during travel. After a few trips of them opening and ultimately pulling the cabinets apart somewhat, I knew there was a better way. I tried adjusting the catches on the drawers and doors, but these things are cheaper than cheap. As someone who respects cabinet construction, I was disappointed once I got my head in there.

Anyways, what I did was install small eye hooks the sides of the drawers and side of cabinet doors with a matching eye hook on the face frame of the cabinet. I made it so the eye hooks would just line up with each other when the drawer or door was closed. Then, I obtained some of those reusable semi-rigid type rubber ties to slip into the eye hooks and just twist so they'd stay put. This worked great at keeping everything closed during travel and then just uninstall the ties when we were at our destination or home. Just thought I'd share.

PS Sorry 2 pictures uploaded sideways. Not sure why?
