Keeping refrigerator pilot running?

We have no luck keeping the frig running with propane without having to turn it off and on twice or three times a day while camping. I get a "check" light each time. Then I hear it clicking over and over until it finally ignites and then check light goes on after a few hours. The 2109s is level, have plenty of propane and it's been this way since it was new from the factory.

Is box a Dometic with DSI (electronic?) Could be the flame detector rod/ignitor is mis- aligned to the burner tip. Flame sensor looses track of the flame and the ignitor has trouble lighting the fire. Leave adjustment to experienced person, its Propane and can pop if mal adjusted.

Yes, its a Dometic and based on your suggestion, you maybe right on! The fact that it came from the factory this way, I suspect an adjustment is all I need. Its off to the dealer to adjust and look at a few other minor issues.
