King Digital HDTV antenna

Checking to see if anyone has replaced their bat wing antenna with the fixed King digital HDTV antenna? I forgot to lower the antenna and pulling out of the campground caught a limb and broke the antenna arms. I have a 2014 Rockwood 8281WS and would like to know how difficult the swap would be. Thanks in advance.

No info on that head unit, but the replacement /swap out is simple and easy.....maybe ten minutes. I replaced our camping neighbors antenia while camping this past Halloween weekend. He was / is a ummmm, bigger guy, and climbing the ladder was not going to happen.

You will only need needle nose pliers to pull / remove the two clamps holding the pins in place. The antenia cable should only be hand tight, but probably may not hurt to bring something up with you to help loosen the cable connection if it's too tight.

As long as you did no damage to the antenia arm, this is really a simple swap!

Good careful up there!

I am swapping the whole piece out to the fixed antenna. One of the arms is broke and it will not raise up. So I figured it was a good time to upgrade.
