Kitchen Workspace

We have an 8301WS on order that has a great floor plan but the kitchen counter space is lacking. I was thinking about getting an island/cart to add some working space. Anyone have a similar set up and find a good setup or solution?Click image for larger version

Yes. It would just stow in the kitchen area when the slide is in.

Looks to me like the perfect solution.

That sounds like a good idea, but that pull up counter is pretty large. Wait until you get it and check it out, then decide. If you do it would certainly fit in the space you mentioned for travel.

Might consider one of the stainless type islands. They are durable, cheap, light weight and available in various sizes and you can take outside if wanted. This all is up to your decor motif of course.

We actually ordered the SS appliances so that is a good idea.

One other thing...need to prepare for insulating the island between the cabinets/stove and slide. I suggest something like foam...then you have to store it...maybe an inner tube you can deflate...prolly the least of your problems.
