Lazy Boy recliners

Not sure if this is a design issue or quality issue. My wife and I checked out 2 brand new trailers on Friday and found the optional Lazy Boy recliners to be disappointing. They would only recline backwards a couple inches and the elevated footrest appeared weak. Our legs dangled downwards. Not sure if this was/is the norm or just victims of too many dealer's lot visitors. Has anyone else experienced issues with this $1200 option?

Thanks

Multiple posts asking the same question isn't the best way to get an answer.

Our lazy boys are super comfy. Recline all the way back prefer it over sitting anywhere else. Like mentioned before try pulling it away from the wall.

Lazy Boy recliners

Wow! Thanks for all the great replies thus far. I think we are simply going to write this off as "user error". I suppose the wife and I were over cautious not to break or damage something that does not belong to us. I think we'll take another look.

Sure is nice to get those honest opinions from actual users. THANKS !

They are the best thing about our Windjammer 3008. I almost took them out over the winter and put them in the house. Have had many good naps on them and have to force myself outside sometimes.

The one thing you have to remember is they are not like a residential recliner so my feet hang way off and it feels like they are going to go down. Every trailer I have come across with recliners are the same except for the one that had electric recliners with built in heat and massage( wow). What I like is that I can slightly recline without putting my feet up and rock myself to sleep.
