Just remember your tt is going to weight 9000# when loaded. Weights given are less propane and battery when listed in brochure. Did you mention what wdh you where using? As I mentioned these tt are not balanced out like other types of trailers ie boat, car so forth.

When I had my car trailers never had to use wdh as you could adjust the weight by shifting car forward or back to get Ideal distribution. Can't really do that with tt now you have to use the wdh. I could tow all day at 75 and never a wiggle. I thought I could do it with a tt not using wdh not so but then the first one I got was a poor set up even towing with a Chevy dully. Ties never had a thing to do with my handling problems. The truck I have now is only a 3/4 ton and pulled my previous tt which was also a V-Lite 34 ft and now using to tow the new one. When I bought the new tt I told the folks that the wdh I was using was still flaky when towing so that's when I got the Equal-i-zer hitch made a big difference.

Maybe you had a bigger tv or more power. Don't know really what the terrain is where your towing. Just some more thoughts. Later RJD

That's a long heavy trailer. You bought a relatively light weight pickup to tow it with so expect the trailer to push you around a little since it weighs a lot more than your truck. My guess is that it is not sway you experiencing, you are simply getting pushed around some.

I have a 3008W trailer and pull it with a Silverado 1500 with a 12,000# 4 pt Equalizer hitch. The truck still has the P rated tires it came with new. No problems at all with sway but it took me a while to get the hitch properly setup after the dealer installed it.
