Levelling issues with torsion bar axles

I've learned to level my trailer a bubble high on the slide side so when the slide is deployed, it will settle level. Stabs make no difference, of course.
Anyone else with this suspension notice the settling condition?

Same hear, I doubt it it has anything to do with the axle type. My last TT had spring axles and didn't tip as much however it only had one small slide

Any axle with any kind of "spring," be it a real leaf spring or a torsion spring, is going to do this. It's the nature of the beast.

X 2 I have two slides on one side and one on the other and at times I still need raise the side with two slides. I have found also if the tt is level and need no blocks I can put down stabilizer jacks first before putting out slide does work at times also. Later RJD

My first TT had no slides so this caught me unawares. Thanks for the reports.

I’ve got three slides, one large one on each side and a little one on one side. Think I’ll need to bubble up? Of course I will test it, just curious.

You'll never know until you do it. Every rig is different.

LEVEL

I do the same w/ 27vsl Flagstaff. It has both slides on the same side. Do not think the axels make a difference.

I do the same. Both slides on the same side. I set it about 3/4 inch high on that side. When the slides are run out, the weight extending out and hanging off that side, settles/compresses the springs on that side more.
I don't drop the stabilizers, until the slide have been run out.
