Question looking at a rockwood

We are looking at a Rockwood 8285s. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. We have a 5er now from gulf stream and are wanting to change to a different floorplan. Thank you now for any feedback.

Welcome fourwalls. I believe there are a ton of Rockwood owners here and I'm sure you'll get lots of advice.

Fourwalls,
We have a 2003 8281SS and we love it. Same floor plan as 8285 only it has a bunk house instead of a rear lounge. any ?'s just ask.

Happy Camping,
Woody

We have a 2008 8317SS. It is a travel trailer and not a fifth wheel so I can not offer you any direct feedback on the floorplan etc.. Non the less it is a Rockwood product like you are looking at and we have been very pleased with our purchase. The finish detail and construction is higher than a lot of other products that we have seen. Other than a slight problem that we are working on with our factory ordered Dometic slide topper we are overall happy campers. Best wishes on your purchase. --Rob

8285ws

Hi All,
We just purchased a 2009 Rockwood 8285ws at an RV show 4/5/08. We're picking it up this coming Monday. The wife and I liked it instantly and think we got a great deal on it (so don't tell me otherwise). I will post pics and give you more info as soon as I can. Hopefully we can take it out for the first time the first weekend in May. We are moving up from our first TT, a 2004 Pioneer 18TS. This looks like a great sight for some useful information.
Talk to ya' all soon.
