Maiden Voyage

Well we got out this weekend in our new Rockwood 2011 2604. Only had a few issues. Found out the microwave door wasn't shutting all the way and that made the power button not working. Found the by pass for the water heater was set so we couldn't get any hot water, thought it was the heater itself. Biggest problem was the power cord, trailer end had a loose white wire and would arc inside when you moved the plug around. Took it apart and re-inserted the white wire and now works great. I think I will still have the power cord replaced under warranty since it did arc inside and I don't know how much I trust it.

Overall it was a great trip in a great trailer. We do wish there was an additional electrical outlet in the kitchen and more counter space but we can work around that. Anyone know how hard it would be to install a 2nd outlet in the kit, thinking under one of the cabinets.

Awesome spawnman! Congrats on the first trip out. Definitely get the cord don't want to take any chances there.

As for installing second (or more) outlets, I've seen 'em done. It shouldn't be too difficult, as long as you can get to the other outlet to pair from.

Have fun!

I thought I was wrong once, but I was wrong!
