Mini Lite 2109S - Murphy Bed option???

I am wondering if there is any possibility that the 2109S could be factory ordered with the murphy bed option? I can't figure out why it doesn't show on their website as being an option considering the 2104S has that option and both trailers are the same size and almost the same weight (11 lbs difference). I realize it might cost more, but would really like to have that in the 2109S.

Have your dealer talk to his or her FR Representative. There are lots of of-book options that can be written in, and this may or may not be one.

Thanks geotex1! We'll certainly try that. I'm thinking that they may jack up the price so that it's not reasonable to do so, but we'll definitely try.

The delta in price may not be so bad. FR has a lot of partial to fully fabricated modules that just get installed across many boxes so if it's not too out of the ordinary and already part of the component picks for that line you might be in luck!

I would be curious what you find out... I like that the kitchen has more storage in the 2109S that the 2104S

Ask the dealer to find out. There may be something under the bed (water heater, for example) that restricts the ability to put in a murphy bed. I know in our 2306, in order to get the murphy bed, we had to sacrifice getting the third bunk, because the water heater had to be moved from under the main bed to under a bunk.

We have the 2109S and the Murphy bed eliminates the pass through storage.

So was the Murphy bed an option in 2012 or did you have to special order?

Don't know if was an option (special request?) in 2012 as we did not want the Murphy bed. We opted for it as it came from the factory with additional items installed by the dealer, and have enjoyed it since. Husband really loves the pass through and we both enjoy access to fridge-bath-sofa-kitchen-bed whether slide is in or out. One of my favorite features is the extra counter space which so many smaller TT's do not have.

Sorry about my wording in my responses - I should have clarified that we purchased our 2109S with the short queen bed (standard item).

I asked the factory before placing my original order. You will give up the full width pass thru, also water heater will be relocated. Just buy the Murphy bed model that has the changes already. 2109 you would just get the modified plan that is standard in other model. You would pay more for special order. I love the pass thru. And easy to walk around bed.

Thanks! Good to hear someone has actually at least tried to have this done and it is doable if really wanted.

We are now looking more seriously at the 2304KS after seeing through one. Really like the layout and only 2 ft longer. Has a large bathroom with lots of storage and comes with the murphy bed.

But I appreciate an answer to my original question!!
