One thing I heard about the murphy beds is that they are having trouble staying up in transit. I bought the 2502KS for this exact issue. 19K every option. I liked the floor plan better because of the jack knife couch and dinette are in the trailer. You don't have to settle for one or the other. Also, I could access the fridge easily on the road. as for the bathroom, it just takes a second to open the slide back enough to get in there. No a huge issue for me. Similar tongue weights. 4300lbs dry with a 6500 lb max capacity gives you plenty of room to load stuff up and take along all of your fishing gear. Happy trails!

Since it is just the wife and I and I can save $6,000, I do not mind driving for several days to save some money. We do not require a big camper and the 19FD seems to fit the bill. It has all the accessories (except the slide out) that we like. With the murphy bed in the up position, that will provide us the sufficient space during the day until time to go to bed. Any comments from anyone who purchased a 19FD?

We have the rock wood 1905 same as the 19. We really like it. It fits in my garage. We can be set up in 15 min. Easy to put away. Pulls great. No regrets at all. Our Murphy bed has a bolt lock on each side. No falling down while transporting.

The Murphy bed locks in place and has not been an issue.
