Mini lite 2306 cable or antenna not working or f hdmi

Hello all I have a mini lite 2306 I can not get cable or antenna to work. I also cannot get anything to work on front hdmi. First cable on the wall behind tv is two coaxial cables connectors one says "aux/sat" other "tv" nothing is connected to them on the tv I have a purple coaxial that goes into the wall, I think speaker connection and an hdmi cable that I assume goes to the irv34 unit. I can play DVDs fine the irv34 no problem. I am at a site with full hook up I have the cable connected outside to cable I also tried sat just to see if wires are swapped I can't get anything to work. Every connection I tried I have it to cable on the tv and I do a auto channel scan, but nothing. Please any thoughts I could really use this for night time to calm the kids done for bed.

The antenna has a button on the face plate of the coax plug, that is for the signal booster. I cannot comment on how to make cable work; have not tried yet. However, I have a Roku 3 that I plug straight at the TV HDMI socket; does not work streaming from the front HDMI entertainment system.

On our 2306...a 2013.

To watch over-the-air TV
On your wallplate, coax into "TV" and turn antenna booster on (light is on)
To watch cable or satellite - coax into Aux/Sat and antenna booster off (no light on).

Where does that white cable go from the pic to the tv? So then where does This purple cable go to that I have into the wall?

The white cable in the pic should go from the TV connection to the antenna in connection on the TV. also make sure your antenna is up and pointed in the correction direction and that the little light is on by the TV connection if not push the button. Then do a scan

Right. Our TV only has one coax input; imagine yours is the same.

The process can be a bit cumbersome, with the two connections on the outside (cable / sat), the two settings on the wall, and the two settings on the TV.

It sounds like you have the first two addressed. I would only suggest that you make sure the TV is switched over to "cable", and not on "air".

If that fails, you might have a wire loose between the exterior connection and the TV...

On our mini lite, we never have to switch the coax on the wall plate. As was mentioned above, we have "tv" and we have "Aux/Sat".

The outside inputs are "cable" and "aux/Sat". Cable goes to "TV" on the inside wall plate, and Sat goes to "Sat" inside on the wall plate. We have never disconnected the coax and moved it from "tv" to Sat". We simply click on the antenna booster and change the tv (in the menu) to "Air" and run the auto program

But it is certainly possible, with the crazy things you hear about from the factory, that my configuration differs from others

We have watched cable, and over the air antenna and have never changed the coax from "cable" to "aux/sat" behind the tv. We simple click on the antenna booster, and change the television from cable to over the air, program the channels, and the tv works (as long as you have reception)

I agree on both, and hope that I didn't confuse anyone even more. I meant that you have to remember to turn off the booster behind the TV and change the setting on the TV's menu when going from antennae/"air" to cable (or vise versa).

I have stood there staring at a blank TV screen wondering what I did wrong when the channel search doesn't return any channels... I go through all the steps in my head and usually realize that I missed something stupid (usually forgetting to change the booster setting).
