Mini Lite 2306 Night Shades

We recently took delivery of a new Mini Lite 2306. We ordered it with the night shades. They are the pull down type that hide away when they are up and away. My wife noticed on our first trip that these shades were not in the 2 Windows where the bunks are. They just have the side to side curtains. Is this normal? Should they be in the windows by the bunks too? Thanks.

Our 2015 2306 does not have the night shades in the bunks either. Not sure why though?

My theory is that those windows are really in the beds so any night shade would be damaged by someone sleeping in there.

Our 2017 2306 does not have the night shades in the bunks either. I would assume they do not put them there as they could get damaged by sleeping next to them? Of course, the big window at the front has the night shades and we lean against it all the time...especially when watching a movie.

Our 2014 has the shades in the bunks. I would strongly question this.

when I question this I was told it was a safety issue because of the emergency escape but I call BS because there were plenty of TT for sale on dealers' lots that had them.

Now who could fit through those tiny windows in the bunks. I'll have to measure mine when I get home. Maybe a dog could fit but they can't turn the crank with their paws.

that's why I call BS on that reason. however on a 2504S the window is large enough to escape

The windows in our bunks don't open. So unless the kiddo's punch them out, they aren't emergency exits anyway...
