Now my next question could be how much u paid....but idk if thats rude to ask or not..xD And one of us might get bummed if we find out we were hosed. Its ur call.....

Well...our dollar is almost the same as yours lately....i think there is like 2 cents difference. We live right across from Detroit Michigan so we go to all the michigan RV shows. And you are lucky to have a close dealer....the ones nearest us in canada are totally f@$^$d!! They asked 23,000 for the same trailer. So now we have to drive to Toronto to pick it up but Im happy with the service i have gotten so far!!

Forgot to mention I also have included in my price (2) two Max Air II's installed and a Large Grab Handle installed.

when I was in canada in 98 it was $1.50 canadian to $1.00 US - I lived in Winnipeg (Gimli) for about 6 months then came back to the states.

Oh, doesnt it come with grab handles? And wth are Max airs?
And yes the exchange has risen in our favour....(almost $ for $)good for me when I shop in Detriot!!
So most of the prices I saw at the US Rv shows should be compatible with Canadian prices but they usually arent. Sadly, most Canadian dealers still charge close to the MSRP. Which is why alot of Canadians shop across the border for RV's.

It does come with a small grab handle but since I have a 4 year old and she cant reach the small handle I figured it was worth the extra to get the over sized loop stlye grab handle and she has used it getting in.

Max airs II's are the vent covers that allow you to leave the vent's open even when raining and not allow the rain to come in unless it is a side driving rain.

you dont pay a duty when bringing stuff across from the US to canada though?

Oh yeah, I got the vent covers also and a maintenance kit, and yes there is usually a freight charge (no duty cuz we r getting it from canadian dealer) but that was all included.
If they throw in a few rolls of Rv toilet paper I will be all set!!!!!

I have to agree on the poorly designed storm windows. We ordered them also, but ours had little plastic latches that held the storm windows in place on the screws. we have the Rockwood Windjammer model. They are all plexi-glass also and have a thin gasket material around the edges that are suposed to seal around the windows. Ours have never fit real well. The window is useless untill you remove these...but in reality thats what storm window is..an extra window. Not double pane window. We have them on our House and you have to remove them to use the windows or open the storm window....old school. So they realy are giving you what they said...just not what we expect in this modern world. We have deicided to just leave them on and use the AC. Not sure why they would just screw them on....maybe they were short of the little platic latches that day.(just kidding)...feel your pain!
