Mini Lite 2306 - Television Mount

Does anyone know if it's possible to order an extra TV mount for the Mini Lite series? We would love to have an extra TV for the exterior for those times when our daughter is watching TV inside.

Would this be something we would have to order directly from Forest River? And can we order it ourselves, or would we have to go through a FR dealer?

Thanks!

There was a post about this last year. I believe no one could find the OEM maker of this bracket kit. I had wanted to do the same and not be bothered with removing the indoor TV. I did find this web site but did not see the same mount that came with the trailer. MORryde International, RV Suspensions, TV Mounts, Sliding Trays

My best guess would be to order from a dealer.

Ours came with a mount on it. You can see it on the exterior under the "n". Forest River Forums - dkb74's Album: 2014 Rockwood 2306 - Picture

I'd ask your dealer.

I'd ask your dealer.

We have the exterior wall mount. (You can see it under the "e" on Mini Lite in this picture.). I would like to have an extra of the portion that attaches to the back of the TV.

Do you remember if it was an online retailer, or was it through Forest River?

I wanted the same thing. We found the mfg that makes the only that type for Forest River. They sold us everything we needed for about $100.00.

Will look and see if I still have all the info.

Here is where we got ours.
Ramco Engineering
2805 Frederic Dr.
Elkhart, In. 46514
800-321-4819
Their part# MSCSL12-QD
Swing Arm Mount QD- small scissor w/lock and Quick Disconnect.
Hope this helps. This exactly what I need to match my outside mount and what our
main TV had.

Thanks so much!

Last question - did you have any trouble attaching the mount to a TV other than the one included with the camper? In other words, can I buy a Sony or Visio TV and still attach the mount to it?

No problem. Main TV is a Toshiba and the second is a Furrion.
We didn't want to have to take the Toshiba loose to take outside.
Have fun.

If you are not going to use the TV in the RV for outside use why not buy a cheaper mount for the inside unit. Then just use the existing detachable mount for your outside TV. Probably 1/2 the cost of a second detachable mount.

I'm embarrassed that I didn't think of that... Simple and cheap - the two best qualities you could ask for!

My only concern would be attaching the new mount inside. Surely the factory has some reinforcement behind the interior mount?

If you mount it in the same location as the existing Mount I'm sure that there is support bracing installed.
