If you have the little led lights for monitoring, well, mine are very imaginative to say the least. They tell whatever they want, but they won't tell what the level is in the tank.

I have a Seelevel system on order.

These level indicators are notorious for wrong readings.

Don't worry about it, other than to give your tank a good flush and clean...

After awhile you'll get the feel for how full they are.

One trick I read about and worked for me was to put a bunch of hot water in the tank and let the steam moisten up the inside of the tank (easy to do here in Yuma, AZ when the daily temps this summer were over 115 degrees), then give the tank a good fill and drain.

Or, if you are hitched up, put the hot water in the tank and drive around and pump the brakes and make a few hard turns to slosh the water around.

Then drain and flush to see what happens.

I do this stuff with mine and they (gray and black tank level indicators) works pretty well now!

Yes johnd10 that is exactly what the wife and I said last night , fill it with hot water and was thinking about adding dawn dish soap as well, that stuff cuts grease

I've owned my RVs, none of which showed accurate readings.

Look in the Private Message (PM) you received yesterday welcoming you to the forum. It has a pointer to this standard “How-To” thread: http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...sics-6778.html

See post #7 in this thread. It might help to read that entire thread.

As mentioned, the level indicators are notoriously incorrect.

I'm more interested in what the reset button is the OP mentioned. Did everyone else miss that?

Didn't miss it...was waiting for someone else to respond as I don't have a clue what it is for.

"Drive around, make some hard braking and sharp turns"? That's everyday driving!
