Movin on up!

I'm new to this particular section of the forum, as we had a Rockwood Roo 21SSL which we just sold, and we put a deposit down today on a Rockwood Signature Ultralite 8329SS.

We just absolutely fell in love with the floorplan when we saw it at the Goshen Rally, and we new we would be getting one, just not quite so soon. But our dealer made us an excellent deal on a leftover 2016. Actually, we like the decor better in this one anyway.

Should be getting it in a week or so.

Tim

Congratulations Tim! Don't forget you need new tires at the optional second year warranty too.. Make sure they top up the Nitrogen as well.

Why the new tires? It has brand new ones on it. As far as the 2nd year warranty, I'll pass. We did not get it on my Roo, and we never had a warranty claim on it. The very few, very minor things that went wrong, it was faster and easier for me to just fix them than haul it 60 miles one way to the dealer. The 2nd year would have just been a waste of money.

Congrats on your new rig. Looks nice.
As far as tires, you have been around here long enough to know about China bombs.
The second year from Forest River is only $150, cheap insurance. What ever you decide, congrats on your new rig.

I know (vaguely) about the china bombs, but honestly I wouldn't know one if I saw it. I searched the forum, but I cant seem to find a definitive list of which tires to watch out for. I do like the idea of a TPMS, however. I think I will get one of those on order.

Love our 8329ss

Congratulations!

We picked up our 2016 8329ss last December. We have camped 104 nights in it so far and looking forward to next year's trips.

We also like the interior of the 2016's better than the 2017's.

Be sure to check out The Rockwood 8329ss Thread to see what other owners have been doing to theirs.
