My 2504s has arrived at the dealership

Going tomorrow morning when I get off work to finish up paper work...they'll prep it and I can take it home next week. Right about 8 weeks...time flew by.

Quality seems a bit less than my Roo. They forgot to screw in one side of the vertical board that the Murphy bed is hinged to. Dealer fixed it right away. (Only 2 screws on the other side and its particle board, so he made it 3 screws on each side - you want to add a screw on yours on each side.)

Bathroom light switch was not vertical, probably off 10 degrees. I pulled it out and they had squirted caulk all around it. I had to shave off all the caulk before I could put it back in the hole and rotate it back to vertical and make a new hole for the top screw. That's all I've found so far. We haven't had it out yet.

Working on some mods: re-installed fence post stinky slinky holder from the Roo, but DW wants it painted black, since the Mini is Oyster Shell, not white, so it kind of stands out like a sore thumb; putting in a Honeywell RTH111B digital thermostat (adding a SPDT mini-switch for fan speed control); looking at a pilot light switch in the bathroom for turning on the HWH, but haven't bounced this one off the DW. She may not like another switch and pilot light in the bathroom. Also, haven't found the switch in brown at any of the big box places. May have to order it.

Congrats on the new 2504s. We got ours in back March. We have spent 10 nights in it so far. We have had no major problems, just a few minor things. The biggest thing we had happen was the trailer break away switch melted on me. Not sure of the cause yet, but it will be replaced here shortly (probably user error). Second, our DVD player quit working. We had some rainy days last time out, and it quit playing. I will follow up with the dealer. Third, I had a weld come loose on the table, just need to get it welded back on.

I haven't had time for any major mods yet, but some little things I have done are; added hooks to the top of the ladder for the bunk, door stop for bathroom door so it does not smack the fridge, and a better paper towel holder was installed.

I am thinking about upgading the thermostat to a digital one. I have been thinking about moving the water filter. They put it in a very awkward location!

If you think of, or come up with some good mods, you'll have to share them. Good luck and have fun!

Congrats on your new trailer as well...I was able to get a 2016..the hooks are already on the ladder now so that saved a little bit of time. I also want to ass a digital thermostat and move the water filter. Had our Madigan voyage last weekend at fort wilderness campgrounds I'm Disney and no issues so far. Going back for more in 2 weeks. I like the door stop idea.
Would love to see so,e pics when you move the water filter.
