Mystery cable

Recently got a 2502ks. When going over it I discovered a violet colored coax cable behind the tv that is not hooked up to anything. There is already a cable hooked to the tv. What is this violet cable? Thanks in advance Al Krupp

Possibly for a satellite system connection. There is usually a sat coax connection in the water bay or similar place. Pull the plate off the support and check the cable color.

Hmm. In my 2015/2016 2604WS I have black, white, orange, and brown coax cables.

In my case:
-- Orange runs from the outside "cable" input to the Winegard amplifier 'off' input.
-- White and brown come off a splitter and feed the Winegard amplifier 'set 2' output to the bedroom and to the outside TV cable output.

Everything else is black.

I spent a bunch of time pulling stuff apart and mapping it out. Created a wiring diagram for myself and labeled the inputs so I know what does what and how to hook stuff up.

Just keep pulling on it to find what it is/isn't attached to. :P

Figured it out. It goes to the outside to supply antenna connection if you move a tv outside, so all you do is hook the violet colored coax to the antenna connection on the booster panel once you remove the inside tv coax from it.
