Duct tape, WD40, super glue. If it sticks, spray it. If it unsticks, glue it or tape it till you can do it right. Works every time.

The problem is I do take the basics and 90% of the time that's all that's needed!
But I normally have a line at my 5er to.
Could be the coors light
Could be the vodka/ liquid ice
Might be the t-bones on the grill
I think I'm social.

My dear wife told me the other day I was TO social and if need to be I could make friends with a stick and invite it over for a drink.

Needed Tools

How about taking some of the basic ideas given here and if you need something you don't have, go and meet the neighbors who might have it. Always found many in the campground more than willing to help out. If your solo, guess you might need a tool trailer.

Thanx for the awesome list. Will have to see how much room I have...lol is it really necessary to carry an air compressor? I have a 2 gallon one but not sure I want to use all my storage space up for just in case trips. I am solo camper. Might be attaching a hitch to pull a second tool trailer hehe

Would strapping one of those heavy duty plastic storage bins to the bumper of the tt work to put tools in? Or is that too much weight for the bumper?

Nothing, with the single possible exception of a factory mounted spare tire is allowed on the bumber without voiding the bumper and frame warranty.
(Per FR)

Having said that, my Blue Boy rides there as well as my spare, but the weight is about 25 pounds and it rides directly over the bumper.

Got nothing better to do today so I will take some photos of the Blue Boy Mount and of the "Dog's House" in the backseat of the truck. My compressor lives there too.

With the long list of "needed tools", I have to reconsider my camper. Now looking at this Class C.

Some have the storage and some do not so I carry a small 12 volt portable when on trips and not the pancake, which I agree is too bulky.

The portable has been great for properly inflating the tires on departure and for emergencies.

Rescue brand rescue tape. You can use it for cracked water lines, hydraulic hose leaks, electrical repairs, etc... It's good stuff.

Sometimes its WHO you know...

If you can camp next to Herc, you're all set!

In my case, I always just make sure to take my brother-in-law. He has one of every tool and knows how to use them.

I carry a portable 12 volt air pump in my van so that would be covered.
I don't have room for a ladder and that just totally bums me out on the bumper..I plan on getting a truck sometime next year to haul with but until then I have to watch weight closely with my van.

Is it the same on the front as far as the tongue goes? I want to get something I can lock for the battery.

We carry a 6' in our rear bumper. A-Frame Double Sided Ladders - Product - Camping World

This is how I locked our batteries to our 08 Flagstaff 831RLSS.

Most anything added to the front of the camper will be more tongue weight than "wheel" weight. The closer to the hitch ball; the more the weight will be biased to the tongue; the closer to the wheels the more it will be biased to "axle weight."

That makes sense. Only thing I want to do to the front is lock the battery area down and maybe be able to keep couple tools there to disconnect or whatever when needed. Be nice to have an area to keep my hitch when not needed up there it seems just as easy to throw in back of van.

If tongue weight is an issue, most likely GVWR of your tow vehicle could be an issue. If whatever you were going to put on the tongue went inside the van, 100% of that weight would be on the van.

Where you put stuff depends a lot on your weight and balance requirements.
