Last haywire I bought was called "soft steel mechanics wire."

Don't know if it's the same as haywire because all I ever saw hay tied with is twine,but I use steel tying wire which you can get at building supply stores.

That's all I see around my area is the twine. Will have to do some shopping around

Try Home Depot, I used some rebar tie wire just yesterday.

Got to make sure the 7/8" clevises on my truck bumper don't magically walk off... Its thinner than hay wire. I wonder if you could find hay wire in the chainlink fence section? Maybe as tension wire??

A guy at work camps with his brother in law and he carried a spare axle assembly for his 5er. And, the guy from work had to borrow it to get home once.

Ok after all the suggestions and going thru my camper I went from a small tool box to a medium size one..lol I did add a list of what sizes of tools I need for certain things as well so I can just do a quick look versus guess what size. Now I just have to buy the items I am missing. First trip is memorial weekend wohoo
