Thanks for the great information. By the way, do those chairs recline?

Thanks for the response and pictures, Maxaterra. A picture is certainly worth 1,000 words. Our dealer had both chairs strapped to the sofa when he closed it up for us. We'll see how that goes.
Jacksum2, the chairs swivel and rock, but no recline. There really isn't room for recline in this layout.

Thanks X, I'm getting a world of good information from you as I have 2604 on order. One more question if you don't mind: You mentioned being in cold weather. Sometimes slideouts are not well insulated. Did you notice that area being particularly cold? Jack

Hey Jack.
It got down in the 40's a few nights, but I can certainly say the insulation is far superior to my previous sandpiper trailer.
Didn't notice that area being any cooler at all. Will know more later this fall when we spend some time in ID on our property. That will be the test!

Thanks for all the great info. We have the Flagstaff version of the 2604. I know have a bunch of stuff to do today and look at doing.

In our TT we traveled with both chairs on the sofa using the provided stap. When we camp it is just the DW and myself, we found we don't use both chairs. I removed one to our storage unit. Now I just place the one chair tightly against the wall by the door so it won't move. The Lamp/table fits nicely between the slide and back wall.

Be careful with that LampTable. 20 minutes after RVW delivered my 2012 RockWood 2604, I decide its time to open the slide for the 1st time. With 2 people outside watching for clearance, I start to open it, and at about the halfway mark, CRACK!!! That &!@# table was wedged between the sidewall, backwall and the lip of the slide and ripped the bottom 3ft out. Thankfully a good friend and a brad nailer have fixed it good as new!

In our unit, the chairs sit one on top of the other at the door, and the straps are attached to the floor at the door and the backwall.

Can someone do me a favor. I have a 2012 2604, my roof membrane where it meets the side wall is bubbled a bit. Just like in the thread "coming unglued". I was wondering if anybody elses is doing this. I thought it was normal, but now it makes me wonder if there wasn't enough glue to the edges and it may cause problems down the road. If you guys could post what yours looks like it would be greatly appreciated

sschifer: Mine is the same at a few spots at the back edge, don't remember if the front edge is the same. There's a ton of the heavy sealant everywhere. We've had rain everyday for 2 weeks, so its definitely getting a leak test.

MAXTERA: Our straps for the chairs are one the right rear corner of the trl. You leave the chair by the door upright, then take the 2nd chair and put it upside down on top of the first chair. Then set the end table beside them and then strap them together.

Max,

Did your 2604 come with a 2" or 2 5/16" hitch?

Jack
