New 2604WS
Just had it 2 weeks and love it so far. Going to leave next week for a trip west. Will be staying at campgrounds. The night time temps will be in the single digits a few nights. The black and grey tanks are heated so should be no problem. Fresh water tank is under bed I think and should not freeze. The water pump in in a compartment with the water heater and I am wondering how to protect it from freezing. What do you all do?

Use a drop light with a 65-100 watt bulb to take the edge off.

No. The fresh water tank is under the trailer's floor. It can freeze if the temps stay low enough, long enough.

What Nomad said. I changed the receptacle in the water bay to give me a place to plug in a 100W light fixture. This protects all the valves and water pump from freezing temps.
And before the engineers chime in, that's where FR put the plug for the WH. I just made it a dual.

That's where they put my HWH outlet, too!!
Can't say I've ever felt around my water heater insulation, but it would seem that the heat loss through the insulation would be enough to keep the pump from freezing without needing the 100W bulb. (My pump is just to the right out of your picture.)

Mine is, too. As is often the case, I did this to give my wife peace of mind.
I was impressed with this TT having all the plumbing in one bay. Sorta like a 5er or A class.

After many delays we are on our first trip in our 2604ws. Yesterday morning it was 25 degrees outside and 45 degrees in the water heater/water pump compartment. The compartment doesn't need a light bulb to keep it from freezing.

I used to have a 2604WS and I had heaters on all tanks as I remember. I don't know why they would heat just the waste tanks and not the fresh water tank? I could be wrong and don't remember but I do know I was in below freezing temps for several days with no problems. I was parked and hooked to shore power and was able to run heat plus heated tanks...

Ditto on the hot water heater compartment not needing anything, it has 5 gallons of hot water to keep it warm. As verified with a second thermometer sensor, that compartment stays way warmer than outside temp.
I would be more concerned with shore water connection freezing.

Using a light bulb for heat is a bad idea. No safety. A neighbor burned his garage down using a light bulb to heat the dog's bed.

I'd like to know more detail about this one. I suspect 100W bulb to keep something from freezing is a far cry from what was "probably" some kind of heat lamp to keep a dog warm.

This was two 100W light bulbs placed under the dog bed (enclosed wood frame). No thermostat to shut it down if it got too hot in the enclosed space.

OK. Any light you use needs to be kept a foot or so away from anything combustible. But lots of people do the light bulb trick with no problems. I guess anyone can do something stupid.
