I saw on you tube that you that Forest River Rockwood cam out with a griddle that mounts onto the outside rails. Does anyone know the model number or where I can purchase it. It comes with brackets the mount on outside rail
Bob, I’d opt to get a Blackstone griddle and use it on a table. Having a griddle that close to the trailer sidewall will probably result in grease splatter getting on the wall. At least with the grill there is a lid that somewhat protects from anything splattering onto the wall. And that griddle may not have a regulator since its intended to connect to the low pressure LP system on the trailer so you’re forced to use it at the trailer.
I agree get the Blackstone griddle and keep a grill also.
Blackstone has a one burner, I have the 2 burner I believe 22" griddle. Tabletop. Tailgate, Blackstone makes a nice stand also.

Here's my current setup. 22" Blackstone griddle rides in the outside kitchen and then moves to a pick nick table or its stand. I also upgraded the bumper/swing arm grill to a Camp Chef pellet grill. I would hate to have that much heat hanging right off the edge of my camper without some type of heat shield.
I have never been a fan of having a grill mounted on my RV. Depending on what and how you cook you can generate quite a bit of greasy steam that can settle on the outside of the RV. I would prefer having the grill/stove top on a separate stand of the picnic table. You can purchase a 5lb propane tank that is easy to carry and will last all season.

The griddle from Forest River appears to be a Suburban Elite. There's one control knob so I assume it's one burner. Whether that's round or a bar, I don't know. Suburban doesn't have any documentation online.
The griddle does have feet and needn't be mounted using the arms, if you don't want to.
Hello! Thought I'd share this:
Just purchased our 2020 Geo Pro and the Suburban Elite Griddle was included, I understand it comes standard equipment. It slides on the permanent outside rail and hooks up to the camper's propane line and a bracket helps support it against the camper side, but it's so uncomfortably heavy (feels like 80-lbs), that we have no intentions using it against my camper. It can be used on a picnic table or bench with multiple installation methods and connection types, including a quick disconnect. Suburban is a division of Airxcel. Features a cast iron removable griddle plate (that when flipped over becomes the lid for storage); even heat distribution, universal cooking, and a grease collection drawer for quick clean up. 11,000 BTU/h. A distinct "pink" rubber ring on control knob will be it's trademark. It's a great griddle for those that like to cook. I plan to sell mine as I'll never carry it with us or use it. More info on the griddle still needs to be uploaded, but OEM can evidently be found at www.airxcel.com.

Ours is a 2019 so I have no plans to use the grill that came with it. Wife bought a Weber 1000 and a Blackstone 17" along with a table to put them on. I am not comfy having a grill so close to the fiberglass even tho they engineered it for such.

We picked up our 2020 Geo Pro 16BH a few weeks ago, and I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with the griddle; ours came with a Coleman camp grill+. I eventually want to get the griddle, as I see it being more useful for us.

Looks an awfully lot like a rebranded Blackstone.

If you are still looking to sell yours I am looking to buy one.

We purchased our 2020 Geo Pro 19FD and to got the lightweight Coleman unit which we will not use as we have a Napoleon Travel Q, which is Canadian made version of Weber with an extension quick connect hose. Rockwood sure saved some money supplying this paper weight, compared to the heavy grill.
I used my new griddle for the first time over the Thanksgiving weekend. I love it.
Why they didn't drill the holes in the hanger brackets to allow the griddle top to be stored upside down on the stove body as was intended, I don't know. I plan to remedy that and will post pictures of the result.
