8 weeks from placing the order.

Gonna pick it up next week.

What can go wrong?! (kidding)

I will post how we made out after we get it home.

Sweet! I hope we’re as lucky!

Will do.

Hope your wait time goes by quick... Ours seemed to, but we were using and camping with our present trailer, so kinda just put the new one out of mind.

Tough to do when yer waiting for something though...

Heck, our new one is in, and we still have to wait to pick it up for another week. Dealer is swamped with campers going out and they have to install the Maxxfan, so more than just a PDI...

We were going camping this weekend, but we cancelled... I thought maybe better to let it sit in the driveway till time to trade.

My luck, we'd be camping and a tree or limb would fall on it or something causing damage right before trading.

Maybe dumb thinking, but better safe than kickin myself later.

I just hope the dealer goes over the new one real careful. I made it clear we were not happy with all the items we found needed attn with our present trailer... stuff they should have caught if they did a proper PDI.

Make sure you go all over your new one when it comes in.

Good luck!

Yay It's Nice!!

New, 2019? made 7/17/18 2109S.

Went to dealer to look it over, wont be ready till next Saturday...

Wow, a lot of new things. Dealer had ours, special order and one for stock..

The one for stock was built 6/28/18, ours, 3 weeks later.

We got the maple wood trim, the new maple is a darker wood than the earlier shade of maple.

The cabinets have nice silver handle pulls instead of round knobs, the stove had silver big knobs for the burners, the oven had a glass window.

The front did not have the above frame batt shelf, but had the two angle irons welded down in the frame old style, but that is ok because the bike rack (Arvika) I want to use should work with the old style batt mount...

The slide out now has the Shwintek gearing where before the 2109S did not have the visible gear track on the slide... Shwintek should be fine, short slide, only a couch inside.

The big surprise was they put the Mor ride (spelling?) Fold down entry steps.

Woah! That was a nice surprise!

All those differences between ours built 3 weeks after the stock unit!

The stock unit had none of these changes.

We are really happy with the changes!

I will post pics after we pick it up on Aug 4.

Dealer has to put MaxxFan Deluxe in place of the crank up vet over the bed.

We think this over our current 1905 will be the keeper.

Nothing wrong with the 1905, just that we are not happy with the murphy bed... but that is just our opinion.

Yes we are the people that buy another rv within a year of the first purchase...

Live and learn, but I think we will have and enjoy the 2109S for many years to come!

Boy It Is Nice!!

Wow, big step up from the 1905...

2109S has the new darker walnut interior, oven has a glass door, shower inside has a watermiser gadget built in to save water, returning water to FW tank while waiting for hot water to flow...

Ordered 5/29/18, trailer built 7/17/18, arrived at dealer in Eastern Pa 7/24/18, brought it home 8/4/18.

Heres some pics, may have to multi post for pics.... Dang, pics are not straight.

Pic of the vent fan is a Maxxfan Deluxe in place of the crank up vent over the bed.

The steps are the Morryde... nice solid feel, have to be sure steps and camper are level or door drags on step... nice though!

I am in Northern Indiana at a friends farm. In 10 days we have driven all over the place. We've both had trailers in the shop and we've been all over 3 counties.

I am absolutely, mouth-open, blown away, amazed at how many trailers are just piled up in places. Just yesterday we were going through some little town (New Paris????) and I saw at least 9 separate Transport Companies.......with acres, upon acres, upon acres, of trailers lined up........waiting on transport. I cannot even wildly guess at the number. From the looks of dirt, and grass grown up around some of them, then some have been there a while.

"Now Hiring" signs.........most of them Permanent........are on every building around here.

We are in farm country......miles from any town........and when going through the maze of back country roads, I saw about 15 trailers at some farm's side yard. Finally found an Amish guy that told me what that was about. This farmer has some deal going to store these, so they are shown as "shipped" on the bottom line.......and they'll be picked up later.

So they are building them. Maybe if you come up here and get it, and tell the dealer you'll just allow him the "free money" of not having to pay the transport driver, then maybe you can get it sooner. I dunno. But there is dang sure an issue!!!
I truly hope that isn't the case. For a publicly traded company, that's illegal. I worked for a company some years ago that was publicly traded. Towards the end of the quarter, they would back up 18-wheelers to the loading dock, load them up with equipment, and pull off the company property, reporting that this equipment was "sold and shipped". Once the quarter was closed out, they would simply sit on that equipment until it was actually sold. It was referred to as "Channel Stuffing"

Our CEO went to jail for it, and the CFO fled the country back to his native country.

Was just at the dealer yesterday. Wait times on Riverstone 39FK is approx 3-4 months. They take about 2 weeks to build one.

X-Chocks Do Work!

First tandem axle we have had.

Trailer parked in our drive, on blacktop, I leveled, put stab jacks down and trailer was a little bouncy...

Put the XChocks in place and they eliminated the bounciness altogether.

Happy with em.

6CatDaddy that is just beautiful. The 2109s was the first Rockwood that I ever set foot in. I have always liked them. I have a couple of questions for you. Can you get it without an oven? What does your sink cover look like? Thanks in advance Jay

Thanks.

Yes available w/o an oven. More storage space with I think cabinet doors and two shelves inside.

We like having the oven, so we ord it like that.

The two bowl stainless sink has a black plastic cover fits flush with countertop.

It is two halves and the one side has slots in it like for a drainboard.

Thank you, I would like to do something with our white sink cover. It seems thin and flimsy to me. I have seen other pictures of the sink cover you have and I would like to get one. Unfortunately our sink is not a rectangle with rounded corners. Jay.
