New owner: 8289WS

It's finally time to replace our 2005 Titanium and we just completed the purchase paperwork for a 2017 (pre-September build) 8289WS with Diamond Package. I wanted to thank this forum for all the great information. In particular, the dealer didn't mention the FR 2 year extended warranty and tried to sell us their overpriced extended warranty instead, so we downloaded the latest FR form from here and will mail it in.

We've got a steep angle of attack on our driveway so we're having the dealer install the Dexter lift kit before we pick it up, probably in late March/early April (going to let them de-winterize for us so we can test the plumbing at the walk-through). In the meantime, we'll have to uncover our Titanium and empty it out. It's going to be hard to wait patiently for the next few weeks...

Congrats on the purchase...just out of curiosity...was buying a pre Sept build key for you, or did it just work out that way? Just wondering if a post Sept build would have been a deal breaker for you as it was for us.

WFD: We first saw a 2017 last year at a show and put it at the top of our list to research. This year the local dealer happened to have a pre-September on the lot. Because of the forum we heard about the changes and decided it was time to jump. We could have lived with the new layout, but much prefer the pre-September version.
