New Rockwood 2605 or Flagstaff 26RKS

Has anyone actually seen one of the new 8' wide Rockwood 2605's or the Flagstaff 26RKS. I have found a couple of the 7.5' wide ones, but no 8'wides.
If you have seen one , where can I find pictures or if you live in Texas or Western Louisiana, is there a dealer who has one?
Thanks for the information.

I would be interested in seeing one of them also. We have the 7.5' Flagstaff 26RKS model and it would be interesting to see what, if any changes were made with the extra 6" width. I know I would re-position the faucet in the bathroom sink to the center of the sink rather than the end like mine is.

Come on guys. Surely someone either has one of these TT's or at least has seen one on a lot somewhere.
I'm beginning to wonder if they even exist.

I may wander out to my dealer's on Saturday to see what he has. He has a large selection of Flagstaffs. He might have one on his lot. If I do, I'll give you a report.

We posted pictures of our 2008 Rockwood 2605 (8'wide) Nov 14/07.
The thread was titled "Pick up at RVW", under RV Economics section.
If you have any questions, just ask away...

Looking at your shots, it looks like the only difference I can see between your 8' model and my 7.5' model is the small wardrobe on the curb side next to the bed. Mine has one only on the street side. Otherwise they did not change anything regarding the layout. The still have the bathroom faucet on the end of the sink rather than the middle. The 6" difference would have allowed it to be in the center of the sink and easier to use.

Our dealer has an '08 model 26RKS. Looked inside. Other than the previously mentioned ward next to the curb side of the bed, I did not notice any differences from our current 2004 26RKS model.

As I originally mentioned in our posts last November, the changes from 7.5 to 8' are subtle at best. I'm sure the changes were done to reduce costs by not producing two different width trailers between the signature and the ultralite models as opposed to other reasons.

BTW, we've seen pictures of 2007 and early 2008 Rockwood 2605's that had the wardrobe on both sides of the bed. That change was not part of the revisions from 7.5 to 8ft. wide.

Sounds like the primary reason was more cost savings than anything as you mentioned. I'm sure they pass those savings on to their customers.
