New RW 1905 Owner - Vent Garnish Falling

New 1905 owners here, as of a few months ago.

We have gone out a couple times now, and things have functioned well. We are first time TT owners, so learning as we go. Went with a 1905, because we pull with a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Live in FL and its just a long weekend thing right now, so flat land in all directions.

Been lurking the forums before the purchase, just to see what we are up against. Fortunately, a lot of issues can be avoided simply by following the advice of people who have had problems resolved here. MB for instance, thanks.

Anyway, I do have one issue I'm not sure about. The inside garnish for the front vent has one screw that wont stay up. I don't know where that screw should go. Does it just go into the ceiling or does it attach to something up above. Should I just get a bigger (wider) screw and attach it. Its a minor issue, so long as it doesn't cause a leak or something I'm fine for now. I attached a pic.

It is amazing how many screws I had to "redo" because they were were not flush or staples I had to push in.

If the screw has a surface to penetrate, use an appropriate plastic anchor. You may have to enlarge the hole.

We have a 1905. I pull with my Jeep Wrangler unlimited once and awhile for local stuff. Long hauls I use my Dodge Durango with the 5.7 Hemi. It's so nice on long hauls. We love the 1905. So easy to set up. We keep ours in our garage/shop. Enjoy! We live ours

Wife and I were originally looking at something to pull behind our wrangler.

But, with 3.21 gears... Max tow is 2k.
So we scrapped that idea.
In the end, it would have worked, as it has 4.10 now.. But still.

Mine has 3500 pound limit. I put tranny cooler on it. I don't use it for long haul. It's my toy. Won't drive it unless it can have top off. 2006 with 37k miles on it.

My screen name comes from my first flatfender - a 1953 3A. And it happened to be tan in color....
