New stuff for 2008 2701SS

New guy on this forum. Wanted to post the new stuff I have found so far on the 2008 2701SS:

8' wide
2 gray tanks, 1 black tank
cabinets are now pressed wood
power awning is now an option (Dometic)
Dry weight up by 400 lbs or so

Turns out as of yesterday, they are going to build the 2701SS with a wall at the end of the bed like the 8317SS (and others). This will have the entertainment system built in. Reason cited was that there was enough room for the wall now that the trailer is 8' wide. I liked the open feeling without the wall, but there aren't any 2008's already built with cream interiors (that I can find).

Anywya, thought I'd share. The sales guy didn't know that the 2008's had 3 holding tanks. Guess ordering a trailer is like a box of chocolates.

Thanks for the welcome! Glad I found these fora.

One thing to add on the new 2701SS. They have added outside storage on the slide out. Also, the propane tanks are forward on the tongue with the battery behind the tanks. Looks like there is enough room to put 3 x 12V batteries, if desired.

I agree with Rockinwood. I may add outside storage on my slide where the dining seats are. Also wish I had the clicker couch instead of the open up sofa bed, which is usless because it cuts off the egress of the master bedroom to the bathroom!
