New to this RV thing. Gotta question.

We just bought a new 2015 3008w. As of 1 July we will have sold our house and we will be full time RV for a time. I am trying to familiarize myself as best I can before that date. I got a lot of good info off the site so far but in my search for the hot water heater (found it and the third hinge) I noticed some kind of rectangular box directly underneath the hot water tank. It appears to have no connection to the hot water tank but it does have a LP connection. It is on the floor next to the sub woofer and I found it when I pulled off the vent on the bar stool side of the counter. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like furnace. Is there ducts running out from it?

Mine go out on sides. And run across floor under cabinets and shower and vent from wall.

If it is the furnace it will have a panel on the outside of the RV directly behind it. One easy way to find out sure is to set the heat up and turn the furnace on--no doubt your answer to "is it my furnace to not" will come quickly!

There is no access on the side of the trailer. It is right behind the front door and the only thing near it is the water heater access.

Looking at the TT online, it appears to be the furnace. On the outside, I can see the WH access panel and just in front of it, I see the intake and exhaust vent for a furnace. There is no outside access to the furnace.

Yes, furnace it is. I wasn't thinking the vent would be ducted further up. I was just looking at the side where it sat. Thanks all.
